Sapaan welcomes analytical and critical essays in all musical domains
and of all music past or present. Submissions should be emailed
to submissions@sapaan.com,
or mailed on floppy or CD to:

Submissions
All submision essays are read blind. Please submit your essay without
any personal identification, with your name, contact info and a
one-sentence biography, within the same email, in a different file.
Sapaan does not accept essays currently being considered by other
publications. Essays should be documented using either The Chicago
Manual of Style or MLA.
Format
The text for essays should be sent as either HTML, Microsoft Word
or WordPerfect file(or a standard word processor or text editor
file). Graphics/images should be sent as a jpeg file.
Within the text Italic, Boldface, superscript, and subscript should
be indicated as:
Italic
<i>This is in italics</i>
Boldface
<b>This is in Boldface</b>
Superscript
<sup>This is superscript</sup>
Subscript
<sub>This is subscript</sub>
Endnote numbers should be indicated using square brackets
Endnotes
At the end of this sentence there is an Endnote.[1]
Acceptance Notification
Authors are notified within six to eight weeks after submission.
Copyright and republication
Authors retain full copyright privileges of their essays. However,
if an article or revised version appearing in sapaan.com is reprinted
elsewhere, an appropriate statement in the new publication should
appear such as:
This essay originally appeared in www.sapaan.com Volume 3 Fall
2004
or
This essay is a revised version of an essay which originally appeared
in www.sapaan.com Volume 3 Fall 2004
